DIRECTIONS
SCPTI is located in the traditional North Yorkshire seaside town of Scarborough, one of the famous triumvirate of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey. It is easily accessed by many routes which take in some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful scenery.
From South: Leave the A1M at junction 44 and take the A64 around York to Scarborough.
From West: Leave M62 at junction 37 (Howden) and take A614 to join A64 at Staxton to Scarborough, this is a beautiful road trip over the Yorkshire Wolds, recently captured in oils by famous Yorkshire artist David Hockney.
From North: Take A171 from Stockton-On-Tees, following coast road south to arrive in Scarborough.
By rail: Scarborough railway station is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from SCPTI, and is
accessed via the Valley Road Bridge found by turn right once having exited the station.
By air: Nearest airport is Durham Tees Valley Airport at Middlesbrough.
