Work: Scarborough and York
I am an Integrative Relational psychotherapist and I use my experience of talking and relating to you in sessions to understand your way of being in the world, how you make sense of it and how you relate to others. Together, we might explore ways to notice or address what is in the way of your aims, happiness, goals or fulfillment.
I work face to face with adults in York and Scarborough who struggle with or feel overwhelmed by aspects of their lives.
I have worked with individuals with a wide range of experiences which included relationship difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, low self-esteem, bereavement, end of life, suicidal thoughts, anger, obsessive behaviour, alcoholism, drug use, domestic violence, sexual violence, depression, childhood sexual abuse and/or panic attacks.
While I undertake supervision training at SCPTI I’m offering reduced fee supervision sessions to qualified and trainee therapists. I have a developmental/Gestalt perspective.

I believe that happiness comes from having great energy and great relationships. If you can be really connected and loving and bring the energy you need to any situation then everything you need is going to come to you and most importantly you will be victorious. Without energy nothing exists and without nourishing relationships (particularly the one you have with yourself) everything in life can seem dull.
On my own journey I have found that the most useful tools I have come across for helping me develop great energy and great relationships have been Gestalt Psychotherapy and Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan). I feel so blessed to be able to bring these tools into your life now.
I currently work mostly from a designated room at my home near Pocklington in East Yorkshire. I also work from rooms in York and Hull. Skype or telephone sessions are available for those unable to get to these locations. Individuals, couples and groups welcome. So please do contact me. You can be assured that any questions you may have about therapy I will answer with kindness and compassion.
I am a UKCP accredited supervisor. I offer a relational approach for clinical and academic supervision. I am qualified to work with students.
